Young Adult Program

9:45 - 10:45 am
The group meets in Fellowship Hall during Sunday School.

John Thompson and Charlie Kinch will be coordinating a Young Adult program focusing on our young adults who are no longer in high school.  The goals of this program are to allow our young adults (college, trade school, employed, unemployed, military, etc.....) an opportunity to gather together with their friends as well as network with young adults from neighboring churches.  Bible Studies and other activities are being coordinated. 

Adult Programs

Lectionary Readings
Pastor Dave is hosting a weekly Bible Study based on the lectionary readings for the next Sunday.  The group will meet in the Sanctuary from 6:30 - 8:00 pm on Wednesdays for a time of study and prayer.

Sarah Circle
Sarah Circle is open to all women who would like to strengthen their relationship with God as well as form bonds with other sisters in Christ.  The meetings have a casual vibe and there is always good treats as well as good conversation.  Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month beginning at 7pm.  The location varies as they meet in the homes of the members (see calendar for specific locations).  Meetings are not held during the summer months.

Martha Circle

Presently, there are 14 active members and 2 non-active members.  They meet every third Tuesday, September through June in Fellowship Hall.  Meetings begin at 12:00 noon with refreshments and with spiritual poems, thoughts and other interesting articles being shared.  Sarah Desscino takes prayer requests, and devotions are held.

Martha Circle is committed to helping area charities by accepting donations for:
Battered Women's Shelter - toiletries, small towels, washcloths, soap, etc.
Crisis Pregnancy Center - baby bottles are filled by Martha Circle members with coins and bills and then donated to the Center.
Zion's Philadelphia Fund - a collection is taken during the annual Christmas party to support this Fund.

While the members of Martha Circle do not actively participate in fundraisers, they do what they can to support the outside community in small ways.

Any woman, age 50 and older, is invited to attend.

Men's Bible Study
The  men's bible study is typically held on the last Thursday of each month at the home of Bill Henry (331 Dorchester Drive, EHT) at 7pm.  All men are invited to attend. 

Knitting Ministry
Do you knit?  Want to learn?
Please consider joining the Knitting Ministry to make hats and scarves, prayer shawls, etc.... for the rescue mission.  Everyone welcome....men, women, teenagers....if interested, please call Cheryl Sandt at 287-9449.

Choir
If you enjoy singing and praising our Lord in song, consider joining the Choir!!
When?  Monday evening in the church (7:00 - 7:45 PM)
Who?  7th graders and up (both women and men!)
